Shore Boulevard (left), west from near Beaumont Street and viewing across Sheepshead Bay. Thespiles mark the limit of the new waterfront bulkhead which is being erected by the W. P. A. in conjunction with the widening of the thoroughfare an additional twenty feet. Shore Boulevard is also visible in the background (trees thereon), where it forms a right angle at West End Avenue.
